About

1976, shortly before ‘disco’ became a bad word, dj eddieo begins spinning, having traded hundreds of rock LPs (Sabbath, Tull, ELP, Slade…) for crates full of dance music (Parliament, Salsoul Orchestra, Harold Melvin….). College radio show ‘Party Time’ leads to back-up gig at Jacob’s Ladder, Revere, then resident gig at Scandals, East Boston. Not exactly A-list (all right, big hair, bridge and tunnel, is more like it), eddieo packs it in by 1981. Fast-forward to 1992, and a comeback at eurohaus pioneer club M-80 leads to a couple of years doing Fridays and Saturdays at Avalon Boston, with club gigs wrapping up (again) in 1995. Now too old, cranky, and tired for the clubs, but still full of music opinions, dj eddieo exists only in his own mind, and, well… now… in cyberspace.

  2. BC, the prince of TV, whassup!? I’m a work in progress here, but check out the post on volume 10; if you wave your mouse over the link (it says HERE) you can bring up a player for the whole set.It takes you off my website, which is a problem, but I’m working on that). Once in the player, you can right-click and download any or all. Enjoy, and spread the word.
